Mainstream Music School

Recently, I’ve taken a music class in Mainstream Music School with my mother. We’ll be learning some basic theory for the 1st term. Yesterday we had some vocal training. Learning where we should keep our breath while singing, and get a stable voice by practicing singing “ahhh~” the teacher compliment us, saying we are fast learner.

The class was fun, felt funny because we’ll have to make all sort of weird sound while practicing. Thank god there are only two students in that class - me and my mom :p couldn’t imagine if there are strangers…

Can’t wait for the 2nd term where we can start to learn singing songs and having performance outside~

Jin's Birthday

It was Jin's countdown birthday on the 20th at Zing Zang cafe in Kepong. We had some French food and at the end of the section, we had Tiramisu cake, personally i don't 'love' Tiramisu, but last night, i can't deny that it was really good, the Tiramisu just melts when you eat it..

Awesome!

Peter bought me a BAZAAR magazine while waiting for the 21st. It is the magazine that I always prefer; everything is just simply BEAUTIFUL inside there. I might not have the budget to buy what they promote inside there...

by looking at it, might make my wish comes true someday...

Muachi from Japan

Mom and dad came back from holiday, bringing a lot of stuff back as usual, most of them are food. This year, they went to Japan before Alaska, and brought back some Japanese snacks. These are the most delicious Muachi I've ever had. The one in the pink package is my favorite. Well, I don’t really know what does it made of, but the taste is like Sakura. It is fresh and soft and… I can’t describe in words…

Hope I’ll have the chance to eat it again in the future.

ChocoMan (by DoooDools)

Went back from work at 5.50pm, taking the monorial to Bukit Nanas, taking the Dang Wangi train back to Kelana Jaya, annoyed by the routine life...
Reached Kelana Jaya Station, went in to the car, on the way back home, peter surprised me with this ChocoMan! As he know i love all kind of weird looking stuff toy (aliens are adorable~).
Finnaly, some one broke my annoying-routine-life.

Reefcheck goes live

Me and the gang at XM recently completed a site for Reef Check Malaysia. It took us a tirelessly-fun 2 months to complete it. As you will see there will be two sections, one the corporate info site basically layed-out in an old school manner.. just not to over do a simple corporate site.

Next, the fun part! When you click on the buoy, you will be taken into the world of exploration~

We wanted to give people an idea of how groovy it is down where it's wetter. So we decided to create a little underwater adventure.

It's full of twists and turns. And it's tricky; you'll need to figure it out.

My part is on the illustration, animation and sound, while Ashok, my colleague, also did the animation and all the coding. Stuart, my creative director gave us the fabulous idea and support.
Reefcheck Malaysia should be thanked for trusting us to create something extra fab.

Well, this is the most not-so-boring and not-so-suffering project i get from XM (after working there for 6months). I enjoy the process where I'm free to develop the art direction and making the cute little characters.

Go to the main site [www.reefcheck.org.my] and click on the buoy to visit the reef.
Or take the plunge and dive directly into the adventure[www.reefcheck.org.my/explore].

pOm pOm mOle

Every mole grows on specific part; the combination of mole on our body makes us unique. Event that happens in my life is like a mole that grows in my memory, on the specific time and place. Some of them might grow higher than the skin around it, that’s what I call “pOm pOm mole”, every “pOm pOm mole” will be written here.
